Michelle van der Plas is a passionate cinematographer based in Utrecht in the Netherlands. Although she loves working in the Netherlands, she also seeks opportunities to shoot films all over the world. Michelle has an intuitive, sensible style.

'With my curious vision as a cinematographer, I pursue to get closer to the characters of each film, which I then translate to movements, light and composition, deepening the layers of the stories told. Working with metaphors and a minimalistic cinematic style, I help the viewer to focus on the message of the film.'
